Updated: 3 November 2026Armath is an Armenian keyboard extension for iPhone. The steps below answer the most common questions.
Add the keyboard
- Open the Armath app and follow the welcome steps.
- Open the iPhone’s Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards.
- Tap Add New Keyboard and choose Armath.
- In any text field, switch to Armath with the globe key.
The Armath app also has a help screen (Home → Something not working?) with the usual problems and their fixes.
Full Access
Full Access is used for haptic feedback and for sharing settings and learning between the app and the keyboard on your device. Typing, suggestions, sound and switching keyboards remain available without it, and so do swipe typing and the number pad while Armath Full is open. Armath has no network code in the keyboard and does not transmit typed text.
Armath Full
Swipe typing, the number pad, deleting word by word and recent emoji are part of Armath Full. Start a free week in the Armath app (Home → Armath Full → Start 7 free days): nothing is charged and nothing renews. After it, they need a monthly or yearly subscription or a one-time purchase, bought on the same screen. If you bought it before, use Restore Purchases on that screen. To cancel a subscription, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions on the iPhone. When Armath Full is not active, the keyboard shows one line instead of a stray letter; typing and corrections keep working.
If the keyboard does not appear
Check that Armath is listed under Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards, then switch away from Armath and back again. If settings do not update, enable Full Access and reopen the keyboard.
Forget what Armath learned
In the Armath app, open Settings → Forget learned words. This clears everything Armath has learned on the device: the word-sequence model, chosen swipe alternatives, learned words and correction feedback. You can also forget a single word or a period of time, or pause learning. The statistics on the Home screen are reset separately in Settings, and swipe samples (if you took part in “Help Armenian swiping”) are deleted with “Delete collected samples”.
